ROBERT E. HOWARD's TYPEWRITER

This photo was taken by Philippe Diederich back in 1999 of REH's studio/room and the typewriter replica he wrote on.
It was in a modest porch that was closed in to fit his bed, writing desk and trunk of books /manuscripts.

In this little room all these immense tales were written about Conan, Kull, Bran Mak Morn, Red Sonya and an age undreamed of.

WHERE I REST, NO STRESS

Original is 16" by 20" on olive tan board.

As always, first rate articles of creators and their work edited by Roy Thomas.
Old Gulacy Elric pic was a highlight for me.
They should be in shops now.

SAVAGE SWORD

Blast from the past. A panel from the RED NAILS sequel in Savage Sword of Conan circa 1993.

I WAS ONE

PURITAN

Pen and ink image that was up on an old site.

COMMISSION

This was done using traditional pen, ink and grey toned copic markers.

Note: I reposted a better scan. There was subtle payne's grey and sepia tones on the original that disappeared on the previous image. I had to duplicate the high rez layer twice - colorize it with the grey and sepia respectively then adjust the opacity filters to better represent the original artwork.
