NCIS:LA KNIFE FIGHT!!!

Just a heads up - I got a chance to work on a quick knife fight last month for the CBS show NCIS:LA.

TV, especially network tv, well this kind of thing is few and far between.

The actress is Daniela Ruah , she executed a very physical knife fight scene extremely well.
She plays the character Kensi Blye.
Her awesome stunt double Tammie Baird is standing on the left, but Daniela shot the whole fight herself and is clearly visible through out.

The stunt team Brand X worked on HAYWIRE and BOURNE ULTIMATUM films -
we had a great time working together on this.

You guys can check out episode 317 on the 28th of February, Tuesday night on CBS.

Special thanks go out to series Writer / Co -Producer Dave Kalstein for inviting us.

Many compliments !!!! I do love this show ! Since a few years, I guess the original NCIS team is repeating the same thing each season, and when the LA version came out in France, I really have enjoyed the new tone. I would say they quarrel less and they are more efficient. Very military, in fact ! And I like the idea of a ghost agent, like Callen. How much lucky you are to have approached Daniela Ruah, mmmmmm.... she's just a beauty ! :) ) ) ) )

I'm eager to watch this episode ! Thanks for sharing your martial arts stuff, I'm a little Kung fu practiser and I'm very impressed by arts like kali ! I would not provoke a philipan ! (Neither anyone else, anyway) :D

Thanks Manu. I agree - Daniela Ruah was a true pro who worked hard on the short fight which was very physical, and only given a short time to get ready.

The fight looked great, Rafael.

It was uncomfortable to watch in places, much like The Hunted.

Did they get to practice with shock knives?

Dumb question, but what is the knife model/make?
