Reposting this sketch here to make a smoother transition. This is close to where I left off on the other blog. Messing around with brushpens. Layering a select few and using that minimal palette to generate some interesting marks.
I miss my old counter stats, I was closing on 25,000 hits in the old blog. The problem with starting a new blog is having to funnel visitors of the old one to the new.
Illustrator and concept designer for comic books (Spider-Man, Conan, Drizzt), films (John Carter of Mars), stage, video games (Turok), sketch cards (Star Wars, LOTR) and tv. Choreographed numerous live events, tv and film projects (Hunted, Non-Stop) focusing on martial arts and edged weapons. Recent work are interior art for Marvel Comics, concept art for The Immortals, Snow White, Broadway show set graphics for Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and Fight Design for NCIS:LA

I really like this one, Raf!
Shows a nice confident, loose line, that brings the image together nicely!
I wish I could get that into some of my work...I'm trying, so perhaps soon, I'll have some success with it!
I do miss you showing the "detail" like you did in your last blog! :)

I'll try and add more detail shots as I go along.
